A 32 year old mother of five children living in the United States was beaten to death inside her own home with a tyre iron, her killer left a note beside her body that read 'Go back to your country , you terrorist'.

A Facebook page called One Million Hijabs for Shaima Alawadi was created to raise awareness of the incident and co-ordinate planned protests. The page has over 5,000 'likes' since the site was created on Saturday. Its creators posted this message alongside a photo of the young woman:

People like this monster who beat Shaima Alawadi to death make me ashamed to be an American. We aren't all like this, but it still make the nation look like it's made up of people who can't tolerate differences in others.

It's all the media's fault combined with people's ignorance/lazyness. But partially, I can't blame people for not liking islam or muslims (arabs) cuz all they see of us is a false image that the media have created. However, that doesn't mean they should blindlessly believe what they are fed on the news.
